Everything DesignMode24 does for you

DesignMode24 is a toolbox, not a trap. Four compressors, one account-free website, zero dark patterns. Here’s the full feature list — what’s here today, and what’s honestly still on the roadmap.

The four compressors

  • Image Compressor — JPEG, WebP and PNG output with a quality slider, max-width control and live before/after sizes.
  • File Compressor — real DEFLATE ZIP archives from any mix of files, with selectable compression levels.
  • Audio Compressor — re-encode to 64–192 kbps Opus or M4A, with a listen-before-you-download preview.
  • Video Compressor — bitrate + resolution controls, frame-by-frame re-encode to WebM with audio preserved.

Privacy architecture

Every tool runs on the Web APIs in your own browser — Canvas, WebCodecs, MediaRecorder, JSZip. Files are opened, processed and saved locally. We couldn’t see your files if we wanted to, because they never reach us. No uploads also means no queues: compression speed depends on your device, not our server load or your internet speed.

Free, without asterisks

  • No account or email required — ever.
  • No daily or monthly compression limits.
  • No watermarks stamped on your output.
  • No “free trial” that quietly becomes a subscription.

Built for every device

The tools are mobile-first: big touch targets, drag-and-drop plus tap-to-browse, and layouts that work on a 5-inch phone as well as a 27-inch monitor. Compress a photo from your camera roll on the bus; nobody will know you didn’t use an app.

Honest numbers, every time

Each compressor reports the original size, the compressed size and the exact percentage saved before you download. If a file barely shrinks (looking at you, already-compressed MP4s), you’ll see why instead of wondering what went wrong.

On the roadmap

We’re upfront about what’s missing: batch image compression, ZIP password protection, MP4 video output and a Pro tier with presets and folder workflows are all planned. The free tools above are complete today and staying free. See Pricing for the full picture.
